This was a new slab with a power trowel finish. No grinding required, I just hit it with the pressure washer and Simple Green. Clearly, be careful with the pressure washer, as you can damage the surface.

You got it. That and a PVC drain pipe. Blue is my "No drill" zone. ;)

Thanks, Sean! The look of acid stain really grew on me, and I'm really happy with it. Can't wait to get the lift in, and get rolling on car projects!

And the Nohr-S is applied and curing. Ended up putting down 4 coats, as the coverage per can was better than expected. Needless to say, I should have a pretty thick layer of protection.

I sourced the stain and the sealer from Scotty at Legacy, and so far, I'm very pleased with the results. I obviously want to get some real use on it, before passing final judgement, so I'll report back after I get through a couple of projects. I'd call it an 85% project, which I'm happy with...

This is actually worthwhile advice. I'm winding down on my project, and wished I'd done a practice project prior to this one. I am happy with the results, but feel it's an 85% success, whereas, if I had experience on a prior project, it could have been a 95%'er.

Thanks! I really hope that the Nohr-S gives it a similar look to the last picture, as it really does pop. It sounds like the sealer arrived a day early, so I should have the final results, tomorrow. I hope you weren't hit too hard with the storms that blew through. It was one hell of a weekend...
