    Power Washer inlet stripped

Inlet and outlet... I overlooked that. It's the outlet. The one where the sprayer attaches so it's high pressure. I will try and snap a pic when I get home. I have a feeling that it's not repairable and I will have to source the entire lower half. Which ***** because I don't even know if it's a...

    Power Washer inlet stripped

So I have a decent Honda powered power washer that is rated at 2600psi that I bought at Lowes @5yrs ago. It works great but I had a recent issue that is making it well, useless. The water outlet, where the sprayer hose connects, is completely stripped. Somehow it got cross threaded and in the...

    Air compressor outside?

Well, I drained the old sears compressor tonight. It's ancient with a big old elec motor and a belt turning a single piston. It says it's a paint sprayer. @100psi max. I noticed that it had a new drain added to it at some point prior to me getting it and the original drain seems seized. The new...

    Air compressor outside?

Yea, I know I need to drain it. I will do it this weekend. Since I use the compressor so little, I'm thinking of hooking it up to a switch so I can turn it on only when needed. I would imagine that with little use then it would only have to be drained infrequently like every other month or so...

    Air compressor outside?

I have a question for those of you in the know- My compressor is a horizontal Husky model and it is quite large. Large enough that for 2 years it's been sitting unused in my sisters barn until I can I get it fitted in my redone garage. I ran a separate circuit for it when rewiring the garage so...

    Bluetooth portable music

I have an Ecoxgear that i picked up at Costco last year. @75 bucks or so. Works really well and boasts a 10hr batt life. It can also be plugged in. Waterproof and shockproof too! Rocks my garage pretty well. I recommend it.

The Volvo Bunker: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Basement.

I am gonna have to subscribe to this. I have an affinity for old Volvo's myself. Grew up with them really. My parents were die hard Swedish car people. We had a 144 wagon, a 164 sedan, a 240 wagon with a real fake wood stripe that my sister totaled and walked away from, a 240 classic wagon, a...

    Several lighting questions

You could also get fixtures with pull chains. Two of my 4' T8's came that way. If the bulbs are keyhole lights wiring them up is pretty easy and straight forward. If you are terrified of electric work an easy solution is to but lamp plugs. They just screw into the lamp housing like a light bulb...

    Finally got lights wired up!

Hmmmm..Oddly enough since posting this they seem to have gained some brightness. No idea why. I also think that the new 8' lights have large deflectors which the others do not. This may be adding to the illusion of being dimmer. I will try removing them and see if they all balance out.

    Finally got lights wired up!

In my quest to make my man mecca more to my liking I finally got my lights wired up. Since it has been like 10 degrees every day for months it took a lot longer than I wanted but it's done. My garage is 22x22. The left side is really the shop side and the right side is spillover. I have 10'...
