    My 28x36 Shop

Sorry I have not been on the site for a while. Mine is 3 or 4 rib belt. I don't recall where I bought the parts. I had a bookmark on the computer but it is gone. Just buy a sheet of universal gasket material and you can match up any bearings at your local shop. The pump is very simple. My...

Not in its final location or plumbed into the garage yet but its works very well. Huge improvement over my crappy oil less. It is more quiet in person than it seems in the video.

Got the old compressor cleaned up and wired last night. Wow is thing quiet! My beer fridge makes about the same noise. I am going to flush out the tank and will take some video. I am amazed that 65 year old technology seems better in every way than all the modern compressors I have owned.

    Pressure switch help

Working on cleaning up my old Brunner compressor to put it back in service. It works but I want to replace the pressure switch, regulator and wiring so its good for another long while. The motor is 3HP, draws 18 amps @ 220 according to label. The pressure switch is ancient and is wired into...

My new 1950 Brunner compressor. Stupid Heavy for 80 gallon and the motor alone weights more than my 26 gallon huskey. It is also extremely quiet in comparison. Found a place in Canada that still has parts so I am going to give it a good once over and hopefully it will run for many more years...

    Interior Walls, What to Use?

I vote metal. My shop is a mix of drywall and metal. I wish I would have put metal everywhere. I put material behind the metal so it would have zero give but if you didn't it is actually cheaper than drywall when you figure in the paint.

Been a while, the garage still needs lots more shelving, some more painting and general organizing. Had a nice winter of parking in a heated garage but my god what a mess that makes. I must have took 2 tons of sand off the floor. next project for the garage will probably be a much better fab...

    Canadian Tire DEALS

Don't buy those black impact sockets. The sizes are painted and wear off in a week. I have had them for years, and people keep buying me more for Christmas. They are a PITA, lol.
