1920-60s DELTA / ROCKWELL picture thread - Post your Delta!

I’m on the Cape this week, but will check it out when home next week. The Master Electric Co. began manufacturing in 1919 in Dayton Ohio. I’ll look at the serial number and see what I can find out. It is the original motor, and 1929 was the first year they made the Delta jointer.

    Vintage Craftsman Table Saw Thread

Nice saw! Here’s a 103 9” table saw/jointer combo I just refurbished for a friend. Waiting on a retrofit blade guard and going to make a guard for the jointer from some scrap oak.

This young fella on FB is looking for a buyer for his original 1828-1931 Delta Specialty Co 4” bench jointer. I have the identical model. Cool find. Here’s his link- https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1087311848806124/

    Preferred vintage craftsman table saw

I’m a huge fan of late 40’s to late 50’s eta Craftsman saws. I use me 10” Unisaw as the heart of my workshop, but always have my 8” 113.27580 nearby, often set up with a dado set so I can just nip over there for those. If I could only have one saw to combine beauty and function, I’d have a...

1920-60s DELTA / ROCKWELL picture thread - Post your Delta!

Ok, here’s my 1929-1931 Delta Specialty Co. 4” jointer. First one they made, and no serial number- this decal was only used 1929-1931. The second is my 1937 Delta DP220 drill press. 1937 was the only year they had the circular base and the new Art Deco cover. I had some decals made to replace...
