Agree on the WR. We extended our deck 3’ and the town wanted 3’ footers and hurricane clips, but the WR external outlets are the ones we added for an above ground pool. My house would blow away and that deck will still be here.

It was cleaner way to charge razors and ****, without having wires topside. I started by removing those items. Once I resolve this, I’ll see about relocating. I don’t need that outlet, as we have one topside on each side of the double vanity.

Just an inexpensive tester like this. I plugged it into good GFI outlets and it tripped those as well. ETA - Jesus. The tester is bad. It’s newer and I’ve used it like 3 times, but the black button doesn’t depress at all. I have a tester that is decades old…it works fine. WTH… Tester

Haha. That was a tie! I was looking for my spare GFI and decided to test the kitchen GFI, and yes it tripped. Tomorrow I’m gonna ice my knees and dive in to a full troubleshoot.

I try to keep things simple, and started troubleshooting with the tester. I know you’re trying to help, but I didn’t move anything in the outlet. In fact, I just plugged the tester into other standard outlets in the Master bathroom and the guest bathroom and guess what, each time it trips...
