Thanks all, Haven't been back into house since but it looks like we maybe close to a deal so next trip in I'll utilize info.

Looking at purchasing a home built in 1912. House has Janitrol gas furnace, thing looks like a relic by its design, but from what I can tell it is pretty clean. does anyone know how I can find out how old it really is and what their life expectancy is?
