I have a Parker No. 978 which is missing the vise nut. It's a pretty scarce model, weighs around 300 lb, so I will likely need to have one fabricated. Maybe the nut is interchangeable with other Parker models, though...any advice?

I have a Chas. Parker Co. No. 978 vise, in very nice condition but is missing the vise nut. I would like to find a replacement part, or specs that would help with fabricating a replacement part. Any help appreciated!
