Vise identification help - can’t find anything about it

Does anyone recognize this logo cast on the side of this large vise I just picked up? It says Chicago Heavy Duty and has a lightning bolt in the middle of it but I can’t find anything out about it. It probably weighs between 50-70 lbs. Thanks in advance for any help! -John

Let's Hear it for the Old Gray/Red Sears Craftsman Tool Chests and Cabinets (60s/70s)

That's what I'll do then. What is a fair price do you think that will sell it quickly, any idea? $50 maybe?

Lol, that's funny. It's filthy though and I had to pull all of the camo carpet out of it as the bottom rubber parts were totally deteriorated. Does anyone know if that "carpet" is original? Seemed like it was. I took the handles off last night, soaked them in Evaporust and lightly ScotchBrited...

My neighbor put this rolling Craftsman at the curb a few days ago so I took it. It is filthy but cleanable and usable. It had a rusty but nice old pair of USA made tin snips and a nice USA made torque wrench in it too, which I cleaned up and greased. Any recommendations for greasing the drawer...

    Atlas 618 Lathe - 6"

Ha ha, small a$$ hammer to the rescue. Little hammer with a rubber and plastic end. Didn’t take much, I just couldn’t yank it hard enought to pop it loose.

I get it, I thought he meant the little table on the front of the machine.... Still a little expensive I think.

That's cool but I'd agree on the kind of spendy bit. It doesn't even come with the table...

Do you guys recommend a good way of cleaning the ways ? Maybe my little granite plate and some 800 - 1000 grit sand paper?

Man I'd love to find a little mill. I'd prefer a vertical one but I wouldn't pass on a horizontal either! That's a beauty.
