As others have said it's messy, like really messy don't buy anything nice it'll get ruined. I used the cheap harbor freight one like $40, goes on heavy but overall works pretty good

Some of the new multiprocess machines are ac/dc yig, I was in a similar situation building my car, I just couldn't justify Miller's prices for an inverter machine. I got the primeweld 220, I think it was sub $1000 comes with a nice torch and pedal, does everything I ask from it

They work pretty good I do my best to go easy on taps, Astro customer service is amazing though I broke a bit (completely my fault) when I called to order a new one they sent a free one no questions

Havent heard anything just figured the reason ahp can sell so cheap is thier using lower components fans, solenoids, ect. I would hope on a higher end machines the internals are better

I had the same battery when i first got mine and it was a let down, i got a bigger battery a xc5.0 and it does much better, still not as good as youtube makes it out it be imo. My nitrocat seemed much stronger despite a lower raring.

I went through this last year, from what i remember for the warranty to be valid it must be installed by a certified gaf contractor, basically means the people putting the roof on need go to some type of class, also the warrenty gets super specific everything like underlayment ridgevents ect...

Eh like others said only works good with a thin wheel, and dont try to use it with thesmaller m12 battery

Anyone have a problem buying carlyle stuff? i dont think theres a single napa in my state that stocks anything
