    Easy to insert air couplers?

I’m glad I got mine a few months ago. Every time I use it I think about the quality. I hope that gives you some satisfaction Frank.

    Easy to insert air couplers?

It’s an easier decision to put one of these in when you have one hose reel that you use 90% of the time. The coupling I took off was rough.

    Easy to insert air couplers?

This would be a great topic for a Consumer Reports type comparison. So many comments with people loving their couplers but I’m not seeing any direct comparisons. I’m due for an upgrade.

    Show your new tool arrivals

Picked up this Baldor Tool grinder off of Offer Up for $500. I’ve been looking for years. It needed to be a great deal to justify how much use it will get. It seems to have hardly been used and minor surface rust is all cosmetic. Really excited! Before and in progress cleaning pictures here.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Cleared space to move stuff in tomorrow if hurricane still at same threat. If it gets real threatening I’ll improvise a strong back for the 2-car garage door. Wife and kids evacuated so the situation is much less stressful. It will probably be just fine...

Mini split and window unit, why did you pick one over the other?

Have an 18,000 BTU window unit for 600sft. I wish it would fail because I want a quiet mini-split with humidity control that I can leave on all day. Quiet would be especially nice now that I telework there due to COVID. it’s got an electric heater that I use rarely in the winter but when I need...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

I found a good place for my Bondhus T-Handle Tool’s by trimming the sides of the plastic Bondhus stands. I’m having fun letting the tools fight their way onto the cart through frequent use. I’ve got months to go on this effort.

I bought _________, because of Garage Journal.

Large mechanic toolbox for home garage recommendations?

I bought a Harbor Freight US General toolbox and cart this year and am still amazed at the value. I had the long held position that Harbor Freight was just junk and whereas they have plenty of junk they have some gems too. There are plenty of videos to watch on these. The quality of the powder...

    Best Shop Vac?

I have a ShopVac that I like and used for years but it’s been in the attic since I shifted to Makita 18V tools and got a hand held vacuum. With just a 3 car garage the floor space trade and convenience of the Makita keep the ShopVac in the attic.
