Should I Separate my Woodshop & Automotive tools/work spaces?

Thats exactly what Im planning! I will have my pressure washer and other detail equipment over on that side, ive even considered a MaxJax later down the road... I currently live in Yucaipa but the new house is up in Apple Valley. Trying to get a single story closer to work is what drove us up...

Should I Separate my Woodshop & Automotive tools/work spaces?

Yea, I think that might be what I do. Hopefully I can get away with a smaller box. Not alot of room to work with! This might also be an option. My toolbox situation would support this. I have two smaller boxes that are easily rolled around. At least until I get some duplicate tools...

Should I Separate my Woodshop & Automotive tools/work spaces?

Thank you! Yea, I can already see myself walking back and forth... I want to agree with you, but I can say that Ive worked with less... Much less! It will be a tight space, but with strategic planning and design, it can be as effective as a bigger shop. Luckily, I live in Southern...

Should I Separate my Woodshop & Automotive tools/work spaces?

Just like the title asks. A little background, to set the story straight. My wife and I are purchasing a new(to us) home that has something I've never been fortunate enough to have... I am finally going to have 4 garage spaces, however they are split. On one side of the house, I have a 3 car...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Just got mine out to my house from our shop in CO. Pretty stoked to get them filled up and organized!

Let's see your miter saw bench

I decided to make my wood working stuff somewhat stow-able when not in use. Here is my first shot at my folding miter station. It works damn good, but still needs a few things.

There goes the neighborhood- My Field Stone Garage

Words cannot even come close to describe the envy I have... The cars, the garage, the GIANT GULF sign. My goodness! Definitely following for more on this.

Love the shelves! Im gonna have to steal that idea, as im a little too cheap to buy the metal ones that look exactly like that, but $25-100 each...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT Nick's Two-Car Detached Vdub Garage

Very nice progress Nick. Another VW guy here as well. I have a 2016 CC R-Line, and Ive had my fair share of VWs. Had a 2012 TDI Golf, 2010 Tiguan, 2002 GTI 337, and a 1971 Squareback. This garage reminds me of my first house's detached. Old(built in '64), plain, and cracked floors. I had a big...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT ZMotorsports Home and 50x60x16 Shop/RV Garage

Nice progress on the build Mike! I had to laugh at the picture of the trampoline pit... My wife and I lived in Tooele for a year(from CA) and it seemed like EVERY house had a trampoline. They would be scattered around the town after a good wind storm. Cant wait to see how this turns out!

    Above 1200 Sq/FT MCM 1 car to a 6 car garage!

Very cool stuff man! Im originally from your area, and I do miss it... Love the Porsches, one day I will be in your shoes! I grew up with and around my grandparents and their 356. Is the 930 going to be Classic Grey or is it changing to something else? There is no other OEM color that makes me...
