Snap-on Ratchet - date code question?

Thanks! I was born in 66 so I guess they've grown old right along with me.

My Herd of Snap-on Stubby 3/8" Drive Ratchets is Growing!

I had a F710 stubby from the late 60's that belonged to my dad. Was for many years my most used ratchet. I gifted it to a good friend of mine who helped me clean out Dad's shop a year or so after he died in the mid 2000s

Snap-on Ratchet - date code question?

I don't see this one on the chart. I have two ratchets with this 9 plus another that's obviously 1959. Plus an obvious 1965. Both of these pictured were bought new by my dad, and 1969 is easily my best guess. To my knowledge he never bought any snap-on after 1973 because he went into the parts...

I got sick of hunting for the right driver / nut driver

I wasn't sure if I would like a cantilever box - never really had one except for old tackle boxes. But I love it. Open it up and you have access to everything. It's an older Kennedy 1018 I picked up for a pretty good deal. Kind of large, but a well built box

    Tool backpack or other options

This particular packout box size I find to be very useful - It has 4 internal organizer trays inside, and will ultimately hold a lot of hand tools and even drills / impacts etc.

I got sick of hunting for the right driver / nut driver

I do have a ton of individual drivers. This box is kind of built around the impact though so lots of bits. I like having at least one beasty slotted head screwdriver and fixed p2 in about every box. There are many instances where they are best option

I got sick of hunting for the right driver / nut driver

I have a nice 1/4 drive kit that lives in my truck at all times too - probably my most used set. Have old hollow handles in the shop too.

I got sick of hunting for the right driver / nut driver

Murphy has invented a lot of them in my lifetime!

I got sick of hunting for the right driver / nut driver

I was thinking long bit holders, but it is good to have longer skinny bits too. They are just harder to find.

Diaphragm pumps what you got ?

Years ago working on a drilling rig offshore we had these type of pumps - air operated. One day I was cleaning out shaker pits and above me they had a 4" pump running and the discharge hose was over 100' long - went down to a boat. Those pumps if they lost prime you would have to pop one of the...

Picked up some Koken handles and metric sockets for my 1/4" drive set. Snap-on same size for comparison

I got sick of hunting for the right driver / nut driver

The result of a couple of years trying to assemble the right kind of box and assortment of tools so that no fastener can defeat me! Outside of normal socket sets I had drivers and bits scattered everywhere. My shop is out back so I was constantly having to trudge around there to find some tool...
