I already own a 1/2" that long but it isn't a flex head. That is a nice looking ratchet but don't necessarily need one that long. Might be a 'buy now, see if i need it later' scenario. I knew I shouldn't of opened GJ today
I have a 1/4" Maxximum torque wrench and it has limited uses. I originally bought it for spark plugs and thought I could use it elsewhere but the torque specs are limited. I suppose the decision for me is between a 3/8" and 1/2". The Tekton seems reasonably priced with good reviews.
I am also...
I just bought one with the black handle from Canadian Tire at full price to have in the boat. They make a marine(anti rust) model but its $28.
Why does it say Gearwrench in one of the photos on CT website?
I don't need this but I have heard good reviews about this gearwrench ratchet throught the Project Farm youtube review. I have the Stanley Canadian Tire special 1/4" ratchet. I always wanted to upgrade some of the Stanley stuff I have. Especially after the lever arm on my 1/2" broke after...
I went to purchase the ratchet and thought I would do some browsing and saw the pry bar set on sale. I thought I can't wrong with this deal, so I picked up a set.
I bought my set 1.5 years ago. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/stanley-professional-grade-black-chrome-socket-set-229-pc-sae-metric-0589285p.0589285.html?rq=stanley+tool+set#srp
How do I determine its a new old stock?
Unfortunately, I have a set of this and while I am a lay person that is just getting into messing around with tools and my vehicle's, the more I read, the less impressed I am with my purchase. I am tempted to sell and buy a better one. Any rec's?
