    Hobby shop in Texas 50x50

Well haven't been on in a while, have had a ton of other side projects going. Have made a little progress. Finished framing the guest room/bath and lawn and garden room. Built stairs and got the whole thing decked for storage. And wrapped up electrical. Need to run a little plumbing and find...

    Hobby shop in Texas 50x50

I didn't really buy the structure per say, a local builder built it for me. There are several guys in my area that this is all they do. Metal buildings are really popular right now for homes as well, so there is no shortage of builders. I found this guy through a friend that works for him...

    Floor options

I love racedeck. If money were no object thats exactly what Id go with but at 2500 sq ft and from what I've seen on pricing thats getting into the $8,000 range I can no where come close to doing that..

So got the building foamed and painted.. Took a couple of pics while the paint was still wet, they are kind of funky looking.. Looks much better now that it is dry, will try to take some better ones. Also got a start on framing the two rooms that will be in the back corner of the shop. One is a...

    Floor options

Flooring options I have read a ton of stuff on here.. Everything from $30 a gal paint to racedeck. I'm pretty well as confused now as when I started. So I will just throw this out there and see what options y'all have. I have built a 50x50 metal shop. I'd like to protect the floor with...

    Hellfire floor coating experience

So Scotty I guess that's a no, you haven't seen anyone use that product before? And what about the coverage I asked about earlier, 300-400 per coat or is that 2 to 3 coats at 300-400? And can someone tell me more about this oil blocking primer.

    Hellfire floor coating experience

Have you seen or know anyone that has used one of the microbial cleaners? ACT keeps coming up in reviews... A bunch of people swear by it. Sprinkle it on get it damp and let it "eat" the oil up.. Could take several days for it to work. The before and after pics look amazing..

    Hellfire floor coating experience

Got a couple of questions for Scotty. So I just build a 50x50 shop. Concrete was poured on Nov 30th. I was going to use the HD40 product until my foam insulation guy blew a hose on his lift and hosed down a huge section with hydraulic fluid and what was under the lift sat on the slab for two...

You are correct 2 inches is about double the price and unless your going to condition the space prob really not worth it.. Here are a couple of pics of the foaming.. It was finished today but wasn't able to get any pics today. It will get a shiny new coat of white paint on Monday..

I'm doing 1" closed cell on roof and walls. Good friends with the guy doing he foam, he says 1" is plenty for what I'm doing. I didn't price 2" but I bet its really high.

Porches and front awning have been welded up, should have the roof on them and trimmed out by the end of the seek if the weather holds out..
