    I’m trying to correct the snow piles that accumulate in the garage with the door shut. Door faces north with a farm field in front so I get all the wind. Wind alone would blow the door back enough to let snow in.

    Correct. It is actually the trim that is a good 3/4” out that the center of the door hits on. Shouldn’t the trim be flush to the header? I could definitely rip it down flush.
