I'm between the liftmaster 8360 and the chamberlain whisper drive. One's chain and one's belt. I dont particularly care either way. Just want a good price and a quality product. The wifi thing is cool but apparently with liftmaster you can;t use it unless you pay 50 bucks per opener for an...
I have 2 really old Stanleys that need replacing but I don;t know how much to spend or what brand to buy.
I have 7 foot doors so 1/2hp should do it and I've seen a lot of the companies in town carry liftmaster. But also I've read that chamberlain is good.
Anyone got an opinion?
thanks.
I was even thinking of jsut using the cheapo garage floor paint...even if you have to recoat annually, it would take a number of years until you've spent as much as soem of the higher end epoxies, which do not always appear to be a safe bet.
Cool man...now I am definitely gonna look into it. Did you have to find a tile guy who had done garages before or was it just any old guy who can lay tile?
I'm hoping to do a 20x20 floor once the weather improves and I have planned on using epoxy or polyaspartic all along, but I am worried about screwing it up and also worried that it might not last forever....so I am considering going with racedeck because it isn't permanent.
I was looking at legacy industrial's products and they seem to have a number of different things, lot's of epoxies and epoxy-related flooring products but only one that said Polyaspartic and it appears to be a solid finish.
Where can I get this stuff and where can I see pictures of it?
I have not heard of this material until I started this thread so...all I really knew about up until this point was the 100% solids epoxy...now I am hearing that there might be a better, tougher option.
Where do you put the saw cut...and what does it do....just create a gap between the exopy and non-epoxy?
I need to find where to buy this polyaspartic stuff....probably what I want for the exposed part.
Being in NJ I assume you're familiar with the conditions I am dealing with. If I epoxy the outside part with a 100% solid, do you think that other than the discolouration it will hold up over the years?
