I use both, the reason why Snap On can do the same with less adaptors is because you can combine two adaptors in one, I have the Snap On on my shop with the optional adapter set and you can do everything with it, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, BMW, Mercedes... I never run across any...
