Don't write off the cordless stuff. I always wanted a 220v 60-80 gallon compressor but after using 18V Fuel 1/2" Impact (Beast), justified building up my cordless collection by the money saved on a new compressor. my old 25 gallon crafstman 120v works fine for filling tires and blowing stuff...
I just bought that drill (non hammer version) and I'm really impressed with it. I use the 18v non fuel drills at work all day long and it seems to equal them while being more compact. I also do a lot of automotive , I ended up buying the 3/8" 12v fuel impact , it's rated at more torque probably...
