Cleaned up the table saw top, 320 grit on a d/a and then scrubbed it with Corrosion-X and a red scotch brite. The Corrosion-X is apparently excellent at sealing bare metal and in general keeping things from rusting / corroding. Apparently great on electrical contacts, which Ill have to try the...

After almost 20 years finally made an output table for the saw (3x6ft). Its nothing special, I had all the supplies laying around, but now I can cut a full 4x8 sheet solo. I made it free standing so I can slide it around the shop to use as an assembly table etc. So far its working out great...

Picked the hottest day of 2017 thusfar to work on the tablesaw. I pulled the top off, cleaned it all out, lubed up everything (pretty sure it hasnt been done since it was new in 1997), and made a quick plate to take up the space around the port for the dust collector in the cabinet. Not a...

Cleaned up the area under the stairs sat. No before pics, but picture just a pile of ****. Managed to fit all the jacks and oil drain etc under there. Added hooks for the smaller jacks, handles, etc. And a couple plastic bins for funnels and the hand pump. Picked up a second vise so I...

Back in Feb I finally ran some air lines. Decided to do copper since it was only going to be one drop at first and then I was going to run more later.... well in typical fashion it turned into plumbing the whole thing at once. All in all it cost me about $700 including a couple of good Wilkerson...

Warm Deal- Milton M and V series 1/4" connector kits

I bought a set of 10 of the Milton V plugs on amazon 3 weeks ago for $5.84. They were due today but today they changed the due date for another month out. So maybe that deal wasnt so great. I may cancel and get a bunch from JB tool instead. They are up to $17.** now for 10...

Finally. Sorry, I keep forgetting when Im out here. Windows are 32x54. The wainscot on the outside is 48" tall. The windows end up around 44" from the floor on the inside. My bench is 40" tall which gives another 4" to the windows. Makes it nice to be able to separate the window sill from...

I did them before. I literally measured out every outlet box in the entire shop before I hung a single panel. I just left a little extra wire in case I had to shift them a bit. I think only a couple had to shift 1/4" or so. Dan

That was the original plan, I even put a header in to attach a shed roof when the building was going up. I didnt go that route because: 1. Id need a variance, which is annoying and costs money 2. They would tax me on the difference in square feet 3. I would need a permit, more money /...

Ill try to get some measurements tonight. I keep forgetting. Stay tuned. I need the trailer to keep all the lawn junk in. It has no place, imo, in a shop space. Plus I hate the smell of cut grass. That alone is enough reason for me. No need for a bathroom, I have a sink. Plus the house is only...
