Even on the sheet metal outside where the clay splashed up and stained it, I only used CLR there and it took most of the stains off. I could assume a specialized red clay stain remover would be better.

Thanks! I didn't use any red clay stains remover. Just the one gallon jugs of what lowes is selling as muriatic acid. Doesn't seem like pure muriatic acid but it worked.
Concrete guys finally showed up in-between the rain storms to pour the patio and parking area.
