Wanted my garage to look like a barn but having issues getting red vinyl siding

Took a few years of thinking to figure out how I wanted it to look as carpentry is not my specialty, but I'm certainly happy with it. Still want to add a coopala at some point but we're building a house this year so probably won't have the time for a while

My new 28x48 with 16' ceiling shop is framed. What are you tips for the rest?

Too late now, but I did do that. I use them all the time as I had expected

Best bang for the buck for heating my larger shop in New Hampshire

I use wood in my house and love it, but didn't want to take up the space, worry about the fire hazard, or deal with the work of it in a garage, especially considering how little I need it at full temp

Best bang for the buck for heating my larger shop in New Hampshire

Went with forced hot air, propane. Will do a better job directing the air at some point but it's up and worked great all winter

And yes, I am able to use studs. I also am sheathing my walls with 5/8" plywood, so some additional strength will be available from those

Suggestions for wall mounting my new 100k BTU furnace

Hi all, I just purchased and assembled a 100k BTU furnace with some basic ducting for my 28x48x16 shop, and was curious if anyone had some last minute input on mounting it to the wall. I bought some 3/16"x1 1/2 x 1 1/2" angle iron and was going to make some shelf brackets, but thought I'd throw...

My 28'x48' stick built garage slowly coming together here in New Hampshire

I've been slack on updating this. It's been slow work lately as I've been busy with other things, but the biggest visual change is the doors are now on. I got my meter hooked up a couple weeks ago as well (went underground wire and they moved the transformer 300' closer to my building), and my...
