Mine sees light use. Prep the floor right with the latex, get some fortifier for the mix as well. I hit mine with a hammer after letting it cure a week, nothing happened. It should be fine for the use it sees. I had mine sanded before it was epoxied to get it super smooth, it ended up... -

How to address this pitted floor?
Quick Level Floor Leveling compound if youre going to epoxy over it or the Quikcrete Resurfacer if youre not. QuickLevel cant be used as a wearing course. Dries to 4400psi. Make sure to prep right. I did the same thing in my garage which had a floor similiar to yours, 300sf took about 3 bags... -

Anyone use porcealin tiles on garage floor?
Con - You can definately, easily crack them. Think of dropping an impact gun by accident. Pro - Pretty cheap to do and easy to clean, just get a dark grey (dorian grey or darker) grout. -
