How do you guys get these killer deals on tool boxes?

Patience, and cash. When that deal comes a long you had better jump on it instantly, so keep your money saved until you see that box you HAVE to have. When it's right it's right.

    3/8" Polyurethane Air hose?

Flexzilla not sure if you had your heart set on polyurethane or if there was a special need, but that hose is awesome. Shortest length it comes in is 25' feet however, at least on summits website. It is sold through multiple vendors.

    Rockwell RK2800K Cordless Impact Driver

Just picked this up from Sears for $149.99 Rockwell RK2800K Anyone ever used one? I just got a new job installing lightbars, laptops, inverters and the like for municipalities here in Utah, and my air tools were too cumbersome to be used all the time and in some tight quarters. I know that...

    The Salt City Garage

Well I posted a month or so ago on here about starting a community garage, and I scrapped that idea. Instead I opted to create a small business that would specialize in long term project storage with lifts, air, and all the goodies. I just barely got the ball rolling and am looking for funding...

    snap on tool box free?

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I'd call from someone elses phone, use a fake name and go pick it up. If it's stolen return it to it's owner and at least it didn't cost you anything.

    good screwdriver set/socket rails

Just buy the Wera chisel driver set, and then buy the Wihas. You'll never buy another screwdriver again. Did you try search? This has only been asked a few hundred times. Oh and Ernst socket rails will be the victor in the socket rail debate.

    A very naive tools question

The automotive business can have a lot of turn over sometimes, so it's not really cost effective to keep buying tools for someone everytime you hire. Yeah you can try to keep track but it never really works. The real tool is the knowledge, experience and capacity to find the information to...

What do you use to clean the parts under the hood

Depends on how dirty we are talking... If we are talking usual road grime and dust, any dish soap or degreaser with a pressure washer will suffice. If you're talking about a car that is 40 years old and has a valve cover leak etc that has been there for most of those years, purple power works...

Display of vintage wrenches, ratchet and sockets

They would look good in an old tool box drawer hung on the wall with a glass or plexi cover; or perhaps a vintage cabinet with the doors removed and a glass cover. Then you could secure some old wrench racks and what not to it to hold the wrenches. If you wanted to get really crazy you could...
