    Hitachi 12v reciprocating saw and driver, opinions?

    Local walmart has this kit for $98, but they seem to be quite ancient debuted in 2007 or so. I already have bosch 12v drill/impact driver kit, and a mastercraft 12v one speed jigsaw, but don't have a clutched driver and reciprocating saw so kinda tempted to pick it up.     Depends on how much clearance you have, may be a lot less messy if you were to drill out rows of holes then chisel out the rest.

    Depends on the store and person you are dealing with. Some will do it some won't, even if you can just buy new one and return with old receipt. :dunno: I think all CT are franchised so each has their own rules.

    If the metal are lodged in there file card won't work. I've used tip of utility knife to scrape out the grooves, works great but you better have good amount of patience.

    I have one from their last sale, but the one on flier appears to be a different model. Works great in the kitchen, haven't really used it anywhere else. Also have another one from tmart, they all work well, I think the technology has matured enough that it's hard to mess it up.
