I have an opportunity to buy a pair of vises: a Wilton C3 and a Columbian D4. I am not really interested in the C3, but might take it if I could rehab it and resell it. What is a reasonable offer for the pair? The C3 does not have jaws in the pic, but the seller says they are in good condition.

I have seen some of these for sale in the neighborhood of $35-$50. They need some work - is that a decent price for these?

I am looking at a 1150. Where did you get your VFD and which one did you get?

I found one listed for auction somewhat close to me, but the only detail given is the model number, 1150. Does anyone know what voltage these normally used? I think I have seen both 208 3ph and 240 single. I am guessing that I would be looking at a motor swap to get 120, right?

The more I think about it, you are right. Why is finding a used American made vise such a chore? I would be more than happy to get one that needs some cleaning up.

I have thought of that and the Bonester has lower profile wheel wells. I guess I should clarify, when I say "trucks", I mean pickups. Refer to my avatar for one of the two.
