Wouldn’t lubing moving parts get all globbed up with sawdust? I have a lower grade dewalt that is difficult to raise the blade too. Haven’t applied any lube out of fearing sawdust would line all the threads.

If it’s functioning properly, what is the benefit of pumping it out? It’s gonna fill back up in a couple weeks. Mine was installed in the 70’s. Been here about 25 years. Never been pumped by me. I can see the leach field when it’s dry during the summer, green grass vs dry grass.

200A service? Sounds like way over kill for a 1 man shop. Do some load calcs. Bet you could get by with 90A service.

I think the new round up formula is much better. Quicker killing. Maybe my weeds were resistant to the old formula? Residential use.

Could the answer also be determined by the product in question? Some products can’t be made without tools. Knives come to mind. Or glass blowing.
