Well I am on the final touches of upgrading my 12 year old arrow shed. This thing has been in the gulf coast region the entire time, not to mention 2 actual hurricanes. If I had a choice and money I would build a wood shed. I have moved this shed once and reassembled. I figured it was time to...
I only need each side to be about 10'. Figured the conduit would be supportive enough and only need to slide one whole side. May have to tweak it some. Wish I had the money to have a spray booth haha.
I've been pondering the same idea. My thought I came up with, but haven't done yet is to screw eyelets in the ceiling. Get some conduit and put through the eyelets. Then buy some canvas paint tarps and put a few grommets on one side. Then buy cheap shower curtain plastic hooks to use to hang...
Yep this may be a revived from the dead thread, however it is a useful thread for those who are starting a new garage setup like myself and cannot afford to run copper throughout my garage. Well i am sure i could but for my use this would be a pain in the **** and i dont have time to mess with...
Well I have a few pics from 2009 and now. Awaiting to put my air compressor in by the breaker box and metal cabinet. After that I will start building a bench for a vise and wheel grinder. That bench will also have a metal top. More to come.... Hope yall enjoy

the thing is with a diy build, you can build for the exact sizes and fitment you need. i made mine a little higher than store bought ones so i can stand and work on stuff without leaning over or bending down. i also wanted it longer than any of the store bought ones.
as for a metal top, my...
built my own. plan on building two more smaller ones soon. spent less than store bought and a lot tougher than the store bought ones. best bet. took me a night to have it built. plus its a good learning experience. except my friends and family always want me to build theirs....
im actually interested in what someone has built out of them.... i have an old water extinguisher that i believe is made out of aluminum. i might just put on my shelf in garage as an antique....
buy a new one, just call around for the best price. at work we turn the old ones in and buy new ones because we get a better price on the new ones versus having them tested and refilled.
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
opened door when i pulled in driveway, walked through it to go inside, shut door...
oh and i went out in garage a few min ago to smoke a cigarette and ponder my current project (magnetic chalkboard paint on the wall) that ill finish tomorrow....
nice place!!! i want to do something like that but i would actually live in the garage...make a bedroom area to add to what you have. might have to hold off a little more if they medically retire me, wont have the $$ to follow through. great job! keep us updated as you go.
