So I broke My 2nd Matco Ratchet...

Way to completely miss the point. I wasn't mad that the first one broke, I was shocked that the 2nd one, brand new, broke. You :lol_hitti Me

I think it would be cool to do things like this. How do you calculate the shrinkage?

So I broke My 2nd Matco Ratchet...

I've actually had more luck with liquid wrench than PB Great like Matco isn't enough expensive :bounce: For a $100+ ratchet (5x the price of a C-Man) I'd expect it to be near bullet proof.

So I broke My 2nd Matco Ratchet...

My friend works at a shop and their Matco guy comes on Friday. Any chance taking it apart would stop him from replacing it?

So I broke My 2nd Matco Ratchet...

So I broke My 2nd Matco Ratchet...

I guess I wasn't clear the first time. I was using the first 3/8ths ratchet on an arm of the subframe that connects to do the hub and not actually support the chassis. I used the 3/8th because a 1/2'' drive didn't fit. The 2nd ratchet that broke broke on a caliper bolt on a 2002 Maxima. I...

So I broke My 2nd Matco Ratchet...

A couple weeks ago I broke a 12'' 3/8'' drive flex head ratchet unbolting a 19mm bolt on a 240sx subframe. I got this ratchet second hand. I always heard great things about Matco so I inquired about their warranty. My ratchet had a lifetime warranty. All I had to do was ship it to them. Here I...

Hey OCG, Everything looks great. I'm a young car guy who is just finishing up his first car project: complete swap of everything from a rusted 240sx to a clean body 240sx. I looked through your thread and a couples questions came to mind. I hope you don't mind teaching. That EDM machine. I...

    30x40 Garage/Shop

Your garage looks beautiful. So beautiful it warrants my first post. You mentioned installing a shop vacuum. Is that going to be in the walls like the air? If so, how does that work?
