I have both a 2 post and a 4 post. The 2 post is BY FAR the most used. The 4 post is handier for quick jobs like oil changes and such, but the 2 post allows you to do almost anything on the car. Speaking from experience, not opinion.

As far as hobbies, I also own an ASCS 360 sprint car that we race when we can, and I design and build pit cart buggies. I also have a large trailer mounted smoker, and, since I like to eat ( another hobby) it works out well. And yes, I am a pimp.
