one car in a two car!

24x36 and the newest car that has ever spent the night in the garage was born in 1968. And I live in an area of Canada where your snot will freeze before you can lock the door on the house some winter mornings.

Air Compressor - Is this a good one? Price seems right!

Thanks for the feedback, this is exactly what I was looking for. Given that I plan on having whatever compressor/tool I purchase for a very long time, I want to make sure I purchase something that I won't feel the need to replace anytime soon. Cheers

Air Compressor - Is this a good one? Price seems right!

It would be small tasks around the house or at my moms - changing tires, filling tires, and installing baseboards at my moms' place would be the tasks that happen sooner then later. That's a good point on the quality of the tools. I do prefer to purchase a brand that I can trust.

Air Compressor - Is this a good one? Price seems right!

I've used a compressor in the past, but know very little when it comes to knowing that is a good one. I can pick up this exact unit for $160, which seems like a good deal to me. Hoping someone can give me some feedback to indicate if I should run to the store and pick this up, or stay far...

    My 24x36 Garage Build!

Thanks ct71rr... It's been a lot of work, but worth every ounce of effort, cut, sliver and frustration! At this point I will be using concrete for the approach, or that's the plan. I have a concrete driveway that is about 75' long before what you can see in the photo. So I think it would look...

    My 24x36 Garage Build!

Driveway/approach is on the to-do list for early next year. The slab right in front of the garage used to be the floor in the single garage that we moved back into the yard for the new garage, and the blocks to the left was a patio area the previous owner installed. Figured I'd leave it for...

    My 24x36 Garage Build!

Wow, another long stretch without and update. Sorry about that... it wasn't for a lack of progress though. Looking back I wish I took a few more pictures during the transformation, but I guess I was too busy! A few highlights: *Electrical/building inspection passed *Removed old fence that...

    My 24x36 Garage Build!

Thanks for the tips Kevin. I think it is just the way I took the photos, but the window wall has 5 outlets in it so I should be ok there. I think the table is in the way of a couple in the photo. Wire has been run for the outside lights, I just haven't mounted the boxes yet. Just waiting to...

    My 24x36 Garage Build!

Yup, lots of lights! Not sure on the wattage just yet, as I haven't actually bought the lights yet. With two runs of four, I am going to wire 3 switches as follows: 1 2 1 3 2 1 2 3 Where "1" is the first switch, "2" is the second switch and "3" is the third. Some highlights from...

    My 24x36 Garage Build!

Thanks JC23 - my Father in Law has had the R/T at three car shows and taken home two trophies for it already. He loves it! It's a blast to drive, and it sounds better then it looks. With an upgraded cam it has that "I got something under the hood" rumble that every old car should have...

Please show me your wall or ceiling mounted tv's

If your looking for a flat panel mount, then Monoprice.com is a must stop! I bought nearly everything for my home theatre system (outside of the receiver and speaker wire - only because I found a smoking deal locally), for a shockingly low price.

    My 24x36 Garage Build!

Wow. It's been a long time since I've been on here. Not because I haven't been on the site, but because I didn't have any updates. I got stuck in a delayed building variance process with the City. But I am happy to say that I have the walls up, entrance door and windows installed and the...

    Manitoba Canada shop/garage builders

I just used Finish First Concrete. They were a bit busy so I had to wait a bit for the pad to be poured (weather delays have hurt his schedule), but I was very happy with the work and very happy with the price. Let me know if you can't find his number, I think I have it here somewhere.
