This may sound silly but make sure your tires are not getting snow packed in the treads yielding no traction. Happens to me occasionally and at first I think the friction wheel must be slipping but then I notice the snow packed wheels just not gripping.

If you lap two wooden straight edges you can get a nice jig that will show you exactly where your circular saw will cut without worrying about the circular saw offset. Fine woodworking shows that jig in the first workbench video here: http://www.startwoodworking.com/getting-started/season-two

+1 :thumbup: I've had the 3110 from when they were first coming out. Bought it many years ago. Reliable. Easy to use. Portable, no bothering with pulling out the laptop. The $30 generic OBD connectors that sell on E-Bay and Amazon to use with the computer give you a lot for the money but imo...
