    Glue??

    Hey, I do some leatherworking and the best I found so far is barge cement (use a hair dryer or heat gun to set both pieces before putting together) or Fabric Tac. Whatever you use, make sure it will stay flexible when its dry or it will crack and break very quickly. Good luck

    Just did a little research thanks to Bobcatter, and I realize you guys just stopped me from making a huge mistake. The horn is solid, hardy is chipped and rounded, as are all the edges.     Hey folks, I just aquired an old approx 150# anvil, no name or markings anywhere. It passed the ballbearing "drop test" and seems to be very solid, older steel. Problem is, all the edges are rounded. Should I try an angle grinder to square them up, or arc weld a thick plate on? Any thoughts or...

    Toolbox rehab questions

    Just rehabbed a 1949 Craftsman chest. Used wire wheel and random orbit sander to get rid of rust and pits in metal.     Its almost the same exact jack as the one you used in the demo. By the pics, it looks like just a plug. Once I had scraped 20 yrs worth of sludge and **** off the housing, I found the hole and it matches the size and location of the fill hole. Thanks Hiball

    Hey guys, quick question.... my new-to-me floor jack is missing the plug in the piston housing. Its a non-threaded hole; is it stripped out or is this a low pressure resivour (spelling?) That I can plug with a rubber plug? Thanks:dunno:

    Boric acid on metal?

    I think boric acid will reacte with the galvanized metal if water/high humidity is involved. Diatemacious earth might be a good alternative,its cheap and won't react at all and is supposed to be great for pest control. Hope that helped
