Prevailing wind and metal roofing question

On both of my metal buildings on our property we absolutely took this into consideration . I would not it accept it . If they Pre drilled the holes properly it shouldn’t be a big deal to re install it correctly .

Klein Tools - what's your opinion?

I think Klein makes some very nice stuff. I have a few of their pieces and they are great quality That being said, I have an interesting Klein story to share. When I was in high school , I got a job working for glass shop. I had no expereince, but was willing to learn,so I worked with...

Lets make an all vintage Snap-on tool picture thread!

I think this is agreat idea. My dad was a Snap On dealer for several years. I have his first Snap On top and Bottom box that he bought used in the mid 70's. I just started using it for a machinist box, so I was cleaning it out today. I found a nice variety of antique Snap On items in it that I...

    My 28x32 "shop" garage

Very imrpessive . I have a decent Mill and lathe that just sits there un used. I had a customer who is a machinist come in and go thru all of the tooling to see what I need to get started. That thread sure gives me some inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

    Snap-On IM51

The IM 51 preceeded the 5100. It is a fine gun, not sure on the specs. I have a long shank version that I like.

    Welcome to my world

Not sure if I have any underhood pics ,if not I will get some tomorrow. The conversion was quite easy, as I built this thing from scratch. I started with a bare frame and built from there. As I said, when I started it I was on a very tight budget, and that was the best option for me. My next one...

    Welcome to my world

No 302, no 351, it's got a threefitt..... threefitt.. threeefifty. I know, I know, but when I started building it my finances where very tight, and I had that engine all ready to go. It is 5.7 TBi , roller cam, .030 over. It made a lot of sense,as I wanted to run a 700r4 anyways. It is a 76...

    Welcome to my world

Thanks for the kind words. The yellow boxes are my personal boxes and that's just how they came from Snap On. The larger box is about 11 years old,and at the time Snap On only made a very limied number of special color boxes. Now they are quite common. I am very fond of the wooden sign. I...
