ok thanks! I'm assuming it is a water based acrylic. What about something like Legacy CURE&SEAL-UV which is a high solids acrylic.

oh well, that's a bummer. I was hoping I could keep hitting it until I get to the smoothness I want. I thought as long as I kept the coats thin, and continued to keep laying them down quickly, it wouldn't be an issue. The "too many layers" articles seemed to be more about resealing every year...

I put down a dark grey stain and 4 coats of sealer over concrete. The concrete was ground down a bit by the contractors who did the wood floors in our house. I love the texture - its a bit grainy and shows some cool cracks. However, I would like to get a smooth ( no bumps ) surface. I keep...
