    Things Snap-On Tool owners say.

The funny thing is, used Harleys in nice condition aren't really that expensive. I just picked up a mint 1999 Softail Custom with less than 9K miles on it for $6500. I love "some" SnapOn tools, especially their wrenches and ratchet handles just feel better in the hand to me. Not too impresses...

Do these pliers look new to you?

Still waiting on a reply to my email. Thanks for posting the phone number, I'll give them a call today.

Do these pliers look new to you?

They were bought directly from Snap On's web site.

Do these pliers look new to you?

Thanks for the replies, just emailed SO and told them I'd like to exchange these for a new pair (since I paid for new). I'll see what they say, hopefully they won't expect me to pay for return shipping. If it wasn't a $60 pair of pliers I'd just clean them and call it good, but... I pay extra...

Do these pliers look new to you?

OK, first I know they're just tools. Second, I can understand and don't mind a little grease or oil left on something from the production process. But I just got these from Snap On (ordered online) and they don't look new to me, maybe like a return? I'm not a pro mechanic so I don't use my stuff...

    DIY install of non-Mrcool units

I just installed an LG (non-DIY) mini split system, these are the parts and tools I needed for the install: 1. Line set (copper lines to connect indoor and outdoor units). Make sure you get the correct type of copper line. 2. Tube cutter and flaring tool (I used a Yellow Jacket 60295 flaring...

Best small tool tote for small projects?

I had the same issue. Finally just went and got a Husky 290 piece mechanics tool set. Kind of heavy to lug around, but has almost everything I need to work on household "honey do's", my dirt bike, junk yard runs, etc. During the summer it lives on the patio so my wife can use it for her back...

    Carlyle 48t Speed Rolling ratchet?

Thanks, just did the same. Hopefully they actually have it in stock and it's not a "ships from supplier" deals and the supplier is o.o.s. Keeping my fingers crossed. It looks like a made in USA Gearwrench.

    Show your new tool arrivals

It is really nice, but like you said... the price. The rest of my stuff is a mix of Gearwrench, Tekton, Ikon, old Craftsman, and 1 each Carlyle and Snap On ratchets that I got good deals on.

    Carlyle 48t Speed Rolling ratchet?

In spite of what they call it, it looks like an indexable head ratchet. Does anyone have one of these, and if so, what is your impression? I have the Carlyle 3/8 flex head ratchet (60t) and I like it a lot, but no experience with any of their other ratchets...

    Snap-On Sockets

When I quit working 2 years ago, I bought a complete set of Snap On sockets, 3/8 drive shallow and deep in both metric and SAE, along with a ratchet. Just something I've always wanted and I wanted to get them while I still had money. Since then most of the tools I've bought have been Tecton...

Looking for a long handle 3/8 drive ratchet - Snap-On, Matco, or something else?

I decided to get the Matco long handled flex ratchet. The dedicated belt tool looks nice too, but my garage is too crowded to get a tool I'm going to use once every 5 years or so.
