Re: Big Maxx 50000 install ...UPDATE...
I am finally finished. My son and I did the final install of the vent through the roof. It is raining today so I went into the attic and snapped some pics. I wanted to make sure I seen no leaks. All looks dry.

I've got some insulation done and a little more vent done. I need a 2 foot section then turn to go up and out. I used R19 because I will still need access to that part of the attic and the garage will only be heated when in use.

Here is a crappy Google image of my house and here i was planning on having the vent come out. Does it look like there would be any problems with anything?
I need to run the vent approx 8 feet on an angle up about 8 feet towards the ridge.

Installed some of the venting. It is installed to just were it enters the attic.

I cant seem to find out how the fire stop is properly installed. Do you cut out the drywall the full size or just the diameter plus the 1 inch air space.
And what is up and what is down.

I installed the proper Utah sediment trap and installed my thermostat. I also pulled it out from the wall from 18 inches to 23 inches.

I believe, you only need it for vertical pipe. Which I do have, it's in the pic with the drywall and concrete. You can see its slightly wet from the leak detector stuff. You can see it in these pics.
