    On-demand heat for 16x20 garage

This is what i have used in the past (currently). It would take my old 14x20 up to workable temp in about 20 min and very comfy in about 40-60min. That was with a VERY drafty door, and insulated walls and ceiling. They are cheap to buy easy to store off season. Mine was used when i got it...

Sears/Craftsman. - Generally high'ish quality, and if the hand tool breaks they replace it no issues, its fairly close to the house. They also generally have LOTS of replacement parts for there tools. I have bought at Harbor freight... But i should not have, generally in accurate and poor...

What did you do "TO" your garage today?

Re: What did you do to your garage today? I just feel bad throwing out a "perfectly good" vise because of a small issue. So i gave the fix a try. I took the broken retainer foot for my cheap (chineese) bench vise and made up a replacement out of "slightly better material". I REALLY wanted to...

    OSB on interior walls

No smell issues. I've done it on 2 of my garages. I've YET to burn either down. They are painted walls so that may help or make it worse with fire? And if/when you want to hang something you are not worried about strength. GL!

    over-the-bench cabinets

NICE JOB! A+ However i'm not looking for another project to get in the way of my real project. I would rather just slap them up on the wall and load them up.

    Newbie On The Garage/Shop Hunt

If you attatch the shop to the house and make a 2nd floor of the shop a "rec room" for the house, and style and lay it out correctly it would prolly look quite nice. We could help more if we had pics of the layout of the house and property. GL!
