Home hobby building :) I've built go-karts, buggies, and a mini-chopper. I added a Hobart handler 240 MIG welder to my collection this past spring. I'm itching to start another project, only limited by time, space, and money. ha.

I grew up watching my back-yard mechanic dad work on cars, which led me to follow his interests. I have been unable to work on cars the past decade only due to living circumstances. I hope in the next few years to buy some property, a big barn/garage, and get back into it.

I have a B.S. from Kent State University in Ohio, major in Aviation. I took many electives in material processes, welding, hydraulics, avionics, electronics, and physics. I wish now I would have pursued that career, and been a pilot as a hobby (but it could just be a case of "grass is always greener on the other side")
