I been looking around for a bench vise and came across this on my local CL. I paid $100 bucks for it figureing freight alone would cost me more than that alone for this beast (living in Hawaii). Think I did good? The rattle can job was just to clean her up for now.

I didn't try it, When you swivel it 90, the shackle doesn'ty extend beyond the posts. Also there is maybe 1/16'' clearance on either side so torqueing it is near impossible.

The problem I have right now is that I am limited to a 1-1/2'' shackle and a lock that is 1-1-1/4'' thick max. Looking at my pic, there is no way they can get to the shackle with bolt cutters, a grinder...maybe only a torch. Even if you were to swivle the lock, the shackle is not exposed. The...
