    Rotary rolling jack cylinder

Has anyone replaced seals on their Rotary rolling jack that looks like this? (JK I can't get the image to load.) One of mine blew today. Looks like a fun to get apart. Looking for proper seals for the cylinder. Any insight would be appreciated. Not overly accustomed to hydraulics but have a good...

Settling garage leaning. Fix or replace?

This is a pic I took in the fall when I put my gt500 away. Ignore the cobra that's growing into the garage. That's a 6 year long project that hasn't gone far. Just to give people a little view of the inside. Sent from my Note 10+ using The Garage Journal mobile app

Settling garage leaning. Fix or replace?

Good to know. I do hope that's not the case. I'll have to get some pictures after work if I remember. The concrete looks fine, but the wall looks like it's coming off of it, if that makes sense. I don't know the proper terminology with this stuff unfortunately. But looks like I'll be learning...

Settling garage leaning. Fix or replace?

I'm not sure where to start with this. So I'm hoping someone here can at least help point me in a direction on who to call/what to do. My house was built in 1920, this was, I'm guessing, the original garage that was built with the house. I use it to store my gt500 and cobra in, as well as my...

    Work bench revival question

Thanks, the rubber top seems like a good plan for sure. It's definitely pretty solid, I can tell whoever built it put a good bit of effort into it. The one out in my garage I built to hold engines, transmissiona, my 300lb ***, etc. I don't this one is THAT strong, but it doesn't need to be...

    Work bench revival question

It's right around 36in tall if I remember correctly. I measured it the other day but don't remember exact dimensions. It sits a bit higher than it looks for sure. I'm 6'2 and held the camera over my head a little bit to get more of a top down angle on it. Thanks for the responses so far...

    Work bench revival question

That would be a solid Idea too. I'm not at all opposed to just throwing a big mat on it. Just wanted to hear from some of you guys on what you would do. Definitely noted. And I have the 2 drawers for it. I'm going to scruff and throw some paint on the faces of them Sent from my Note 10+ using...

    Work bench revival question

I picked up this bench from my mom's friend a few months ago. They moved into a house, this was in the basement and they wanted it out. It's pretty solid, and free is the best price you can get. But it's definitely seen some better days. The old 4x4 legs on the bottom were sitting in about 1/2"...

How do you keep a gravel driveway weed free?

I hate my gravel driveway. Glad I came across this thread tho because I have the same issue with the weeds. Sent from my Note 10+ using The Garage Journal mobile app

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Checked the pressure in the tank, then went back into the ac before work. Picked this thing up a few weeks ago, just wanted to leave it filled at 175psi for a few days to make sure it didn't have any leaks. All checks out. Now to get a regulator on it, and setup a drain. Show your new tool arrivals

I went in to buy a Scag or Ferris, and the salesman told me to really consider the new Cub. For the parts it came with (serviceable transmissions with expansion tanks, 23hp Kawasaki, larger wheels and casters, adjustable seat, etc) it just seemed like a better deal for my uses. It cost us less...

    Show your new tool arrivals

Not sure if this is considered a "tool" or not, but nonetheless it is the newest arrival. You can see my wife's smiling face. If 1 picture described our lives.... It's a cub Ultima ZT2. What a step up from the Toro behind it. Sent from my Note 9 using The Garage Journal mobile app
