i know this is a super old post, but i'm also new here. whats that slat wall called? is it wood or mdf? how is it for holding heavier stuff like skis or shovels, etc?

not planning ahead of time for the garage fridge. it doesn't get used as much, too big to put anywhere else and it's in a spot that i can make better use of but i can't put it anywhere else.

Pic for attention. Swapped over the wheels and tires of my wife's Volvo (in pic) from all seasons to winters. Also on the far right wall above my wife's bike i installed a fishing rod holder. still need to clean/wash and put the all seasons away on the top right mezzanine (later today). oh...
