Anna Maria Island is great. Spent a week there in the summer before Hurricane Milton. The hurricane took out some of the piers and restaurants. North Shore Cafe is great for lunch.

When my house was built 9 years ago, I pulled enough slightly used 2x4s out of the dumpster to build 2 - 12' long walls in my unfinished basement mechanical room. I was dumpster diving all the time.

I never tried to measure the grass area accurately. Roughly an acre, I ran over 1,000 foot of underground dog fence wire that covers most of the yard and then less the house, detached garage, and concrete driveway.

I buy the generic Tenacity, Meso 4 SC, from Amazon and spray it as a preemergent for crabgrass and to kill the dandelions. It takes the whole 8 oz bottle to mix the 30 gallons that I spray on my yard.

I wanted to do turf blocks on the lane to my detached garage about 2 years ago. But I was quoted almost $6 per block and wasn't going to spend $6,000 for those.

I would get a full water mineral test done on a untreated sample from your well. You may need a different media filter before the softener. Smell and rust stains sounds like iron and other stuff that can be removed before the softner.

Are you on well water? What does the inside of your toilet tanks look like?

Tried that home made version last year but was probably too late into the summer and didn't catch very many. I am on my second one of these so far this spring. I have caught a ton of wasps, yellow jackets and green bottle flies.

Our local Community College has a A.A.S. degree in Emergency Medical Services and less credits required certificate in Paramedic. I think they had 10 EMS grads last May, not sure on cert numbers.

Never assume anything is good. I had a brand new cat 5 keystone jack that was manufactured wrong and tested crossed wires every time even though I verified and repunched it a couple times. Replaced it and all was good.
