    Tire wear vs. suspension

    That tire wear is mostly from running them under inflated at some point in their life cycle. There seems to be a little more wear on the inside edge, which would indicate too much toe out. The Mopar minivans were common to have bad outer tie rod ends too. Which could explain some of the wear...

    Rusted cotter pins......

    before you cut the pin use your air impact hammer with a wide faced hammer head and vibrate against a flat of the nut, at the same time shoot a little Marvel or other penetrant oil on the pin. Usually works the oil down in and loosens the rust.

    I use the most popular oil filter box in our shop. I'm working on the second drawer. Easy to replace when one tears or wears out.

    sounds as if the timing belt might be too tight. What year is it and what size motor? If it is a 2.0 that does have an interference motor, 2.4 was not.
