Good afternoon gents , after dealing with alignment shops that don't have a clue over the past few years , I am thinking I may spend the money on a machine . I realize they are quite expensive for as often as u will use it , but that's ok . I've seen some quite older machines that have been kept...

    Low cost TIG welding machines

Not sure what your budget is, but there is lots of used equipment of craigslist. I just picked up a Lincoln square wave 200. They are selling for 1399.99 right now. you will not have the capacity to go much past 3/16 with a 110v machine. A big 220v machine will be working hard for 3/4".If it...

In response to Do i need long wrenches

I did the exact same thing ! The passenger side rear mount is a nightmare to get out. Looked at it for about 5 minutes and bent a wrench at a 90* angle to get it.

Why wont the other SO dealer answer my phone?

You just posted the EXACT reason, I will not do business with snap on! I have yet to meet a snap on guy that wasn't a total tool , himself. The last shop I worked at, He quit talking to me after I told him my feelings on snap on dealers. ( long story) Every shop I worked at had a good matco...

    Drill bits for auto mechanic?

I bought a set of relabeled irwin bits through my matco guy. He had an almost new set on sale as he had to repo them from another mechanic. All bits 1/4" and above are lifetime warranty through him! More than worth the couple extra $ spent vs buying direct from irwin.
