Boiler C wire help, rate the install....

One thermostat has a 4 wire run, the other has a OLD 2 wire. I will replace that wire from the zone valve in the basement to the thermostat, but I didn't know how to wire it from the transformer in the boiler to the thermostats.

Boiler C wire help, rate the install....

I had a boiler (and hot water heater) installed in 2009 after my basement had 4" of water shortly after I moved in. I had a very reputable company install the new boiler and replace the 3 zone valves, they also replaced the baseboard heat vents. It's a monoflow system, so no real branches...

Compact Air Hose Reel, can't find one small enough.

Nope, It's a garage with cinder block walls, my compressor is tucked in the opposite corner. My hose is hung above so I have to squeeze between my car to get the hose. I should have known it was a bad idea. I have never had a hose reel.

Compact Air Hose Reel, can't find one small enough.

I just looked and measured my driveway and I would like a 35' hose, 50' would be overkill.

Compact Air Hose Reel, can't find one small enough.

Compact Air Hose Reel, can't find one small enough.

The maximum space is 15", I can't find ANY retractable hose reels that small, it can be wide like the hand crank ones are. Do they make a wide retractable hose reel? Every one I find is 19"...

Insulating a cement block attached garage under living space questions

I found a place to purchase 1" Z furring strips, I went with the 20 gauge, they had 25 gauge and it was so flimsy I was not impressed. I ordered 40 of them. I am going to use 1" foamular 150 insulation between the strips. I settled on 1/2" OSB over the foam instead of the plywood. The price...

Insulating a cement block attached garage under living space questions

I have a Tri-Level house with a 2.something car garage. It is attached at one end to the house, and there are two bedrooms and a bathroom above. On one side half of the wall is under grade at the front of the house. The outside is brick over the block. When I moved in there was a drywalled...
