    Am I being Stupid?

Same thing here, I just ran a drain hose outside. Turn off the compressor at the end of the day, pull the line until the drain runs clear.... Done.

    high flow shower heads?

Probably ok? But I'd be real nervous of placing electrical boxes on the same stud in which water could potentially leak down onto one day.

    I hate mices

I put a giant planter on either side of my big garage door filled with catnip to attract the neighborhood cats. No more mice in the garage or the house.

How to remove broken exhaust manifold bolt

Welding that far down in an aluminum hole, would almost certainly damage the material in the hole. Heads are off, take it to a machine shop. Best $20 you'll ever spend.

Porter Cable Pancake Compressor Piston Stuck

I bought one of those store brand oilless ultra quiet compressors for around the house things. Pretty amazing how much air it puts out and you can barely tell it's running. Similar to this one on YouTube: The video makes it seem louder than it is in person.

Unusual Mounting for a Shop TV

Actually, a TV is a good addition to a garage. I have one connected to a computer as a third monitor in mine. Use it to loop weather radar when storms are around, display reference images for what ever is being worked on, stream security cameras, or have an occasional music concert running in...
