I picked up this Columbian No 603 on Craigslist a couple weeks ago for $50. It has some cut marks on the jaws but works well enough. Can anyone tell me the approx. age and did I do okay on the price? I'm going to repaint it. I took a few shots after I hit it with a wire wheel.
I got it disassembled and took a wire wheel to it to remove the blue paint. I'm going to repaint it a dark gray color. I hope my new paint sticks as well as that blue stuff did. Here are some pics.
