    Will coating over pits cause performance issues?

    If well prepped, there is likely no impact on adhesion. However, keep in mind that the top edges of the pits will be more susceptible to damage from impact or abrasion as they are effectively high spots. The pits will also trap debris or water when squeegeeing out after cleaning.
