..... I have some pliers marked Sandvik-Bahco and Belzer, of course that ones made in Sweden, France or Germany. They are still my favorite, and I'm keep hunting for more (usually used or NOS) and I don't mind to trade my collection of Bernstein pliers for that :-)

I think only for initial production/manufacturing like setting CNC machines, accuration and perfectly calibrated meters (calipers, gauge, micro, etc) absolutely needed. But down to end users or repairman those pricey accuration is not that so important, usually there is no need to have dead on...
