Congratulations on the win! Are you going to be able to find a NOS bumper or a good reproduction? Or are they getting hard to find?

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT KC Wrenching Society garage condo

I just stumbled across this thread. I always wondered what happened to the KCWS. I was a member 10 or more years ago. Still have my name tag! At the time I was living in Jefferson City Missouri, and had the red 1986 911 and then a blue Boxster S. You guys all met up at my house one time And I...

Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT My new garage in Wales

Here in the eastern Nebraska part of the state, they use a brine mix. However, it normally gets so cold here in the winter, that brine, or even pure salt, would not melt the snow or ice. Subzero degree Fahrenheit, for days at a time is not unusual. And I will go to the car wash and spray the...

Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT My new garage in Wales

I don’t often post on this forum, mostly just read, and I have really enjoyed reading this entire thread! I think what amazes me the most is how quickly things rust where you live. I live in Lincoln, Nebraska, and while we get quite a bit of rain and snow, the humidity is generally quite low...

8 x 10 resin shed, treated lumber foundation?

Purchasing an 8 x 10 resin shed from Menards. I plan on using solid concrete blocks and then setting my wood foundation on top of them. Then on top of the foundation I will be using three-quarter inch plywood. Do I need to use treated lumber if the foundation is not in contact with the ground...

Ok, so I got the heater on Friday and on Saturday installed the breaker and wiring for it in the garage. I have a surface mount breaker box in the garage so the wiring was quite simple. The plug on the heater is the one typically used for a 20amp 240volt device so make sure you get the right...

Question on the Big Buddy Propane Heater

Talking about this one: It uses 1lb propane cylinders (one on each side) or I can get the optional attachment to use a 20lb cylinder. My question is do I some how need to block off the other cylinder port, leave attached the 1lb cylinder or do nothing? Thanks!

I just bought one off of Amazon and it should be here in time to install this weekend. Last weekend was in the teens and my small propane heater and two 1500 watt space heaters just couldn't get the job done in my 450 sqft garage.

    Heater for 2 Car Garage

I just bought this off of Amazon and hope to get it installed this weekend. Hoping between this and a small propane heater I can start working in my newly insulated garage! Last weekend was in the teens and the propane heater and two 1500 watt electric heaters could barely get it up to 50 degrees!
